We were headed to Florida, but thought to stay the night in va... It was dark, and not many choices, so, sorry to say, we got a room at Howard Johnsons.... They made my husband sign a paper saying we had no pets, which was ok, we didn't... The room was god aweful, made me sick..... pulled the blankets down and found this worm in the bed, and yes, we brought it to the desk, but was told we had to wait till the manager came on in the morning.... the bathroom tub ran all night, I didn't take a shower the next morning, mold, stains... they said our room was a non-smoking, but the covers on both beds had burn holes on it. I did pull the bed sheets off to see if I could see bed bugs, just the worm.... My son said to me... this is worse than camping out.... All night I heard barking of dogs in the next room, and the couple was fighting, with people going in and out of their room, probably a drug deal, and right outside our door is a 2x4 triangular ground where dog crap is all over the place.... I can't believe they can stay in business like that... My husband told them that he was going to contact the health department... I can go on and on about how bad this place is... just don't make the mistake we did....
