I stayed at the Residence Inn this week and I was completely satisfied. The staff is exceptional. Everyone from the front desk, breakfast and happy hour and housekeeping staff is wonderful. The rooms are also spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back on future trips to Richmond.

We stayed for just 2 days in November as we do every year. It's a real clean, friendly, and welcoming place. We get a 1 bedroom suite with a living room and small kitchen. The breakfast buffet is always fresh and plentiful. The surrounding area is packed with stuff to do and places to eat and the staff is very knowledgable of it. We stay here because it's pet friendly and we won't stay any place else. The Marriot should do copy the attitude and professionalism of this staff and use it in every one of their hotels.

We stayed have stayed in this Residence Inn several times over the years and it keeps getting better. We stayed ten days in January when our mother was ill. We had five rooms. The staff was fantastic. The manager, Seth Weiss, couldn't have been more helpful. We had a couple for suites last week for another family visit and most of the staff were still there and equally as helpful.
The Asian women that serves breakfast is wonderful and her food is good as well. There are a lot of Marriott properties within a mile of this property and we have stayed in all of them. If you like the Residence Inn concept, you will love staying in this property. Kudos to Seth and his staff for being so accommodating and pleasant.

Stayed for one night during Hurricane Irene. It was fully booked due to evacuees. The wonderful front desk staff worked with me so I could check in early. They were friendly, courteous and engaging. Thank you!

The room shows its age, but is comfortable in size. As others have noted in reviews, the bed was indeed hard -- unusual for a Marriott property. This made sleep uncomfortable. The HVAC worked very well as did the nice new TV.

Breakfast was bountiful, with options for most everyone. As the property was full of evacuated families, the space was tight, loud and hectic.

Overall, an average stay, made better by friendly staff willing to 'go out of their way' to ensure happy customers.
