Arrived just at sunset with no rez. We were tired from driving all day. Aside from the smell of fresh paint and other various refurbishing equipment and tools visible in the lobby and several other areas, the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Office/front desk staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were made up and laid out well. We knew the alterations were for the better of the establishment and they looked very promising. Beds were surprisingly comfy but you may want to bring your own pillow (or two). Breakfast was well set out and fast for those who needed to get an early start. The only negative would be that the pocket door separating our room from the bathroom was off its track or otherwise not functioning well, so privacy for three people was somewhat wanting, if you get my drift. It opened and closed but not without some effort. I'm hoping that was part of the renovations. Overall, a good stay and we'd go back, even if only to check out the improvements.
