Place was average. Breakfast was not super. Orange juice was red. When it came time to check out they forced me to have breakfast first.. I felt I was in that song from the Eagles..hotel California. You can check in anytime you like...but you can never leave!

Visiting Sardinia is always a wonderful experience: going there in May is something even more rewarding for your all your senses and for your soul. The best hotel I went on this site ispection is Cala Rosa just off Stintino, a nice village on the North, where the island ends and has magnificent white untouched beaches. The hotel has a great position, overlooking the sea, and few minutes away from the seaside. There are no words for smells, colors, flavors, you have to experience them at least once in your life.
Rooms have been completely refurbished and make you feel at home with a cozy atmosphere; walking in the garden is a pleasure, dining at the restaurant is delicious and so on as everything is set to perfection. A shuttle service runs all over the day from the hotel to the yacht club beach, still part of the property
The service at Cala Rosa is very professional, from the welcoming receptionist to the barman, from the maids to the gardeners, from the quality manager to the hotel Manager , who takes pride in being front line all over, for a perfect planning and smooth flow from early morning till night.

Awful service from staff unwilling to help and hardly speaking English. They charged me 120 eur for three [--] pillows supposed to be missing from my hotel room. The pictures show a high standard family resort. In reality it is a worn down 2 star hotel charging 5 star prices.
I would strongly suggest to avoid this place as there are a lot of nice places close to this crap establishment.

I've spent one week of total relax at the Hotel Cala Rosa, with my sister and my six-month-old daughter. The staff was very friendly, obliging and willing to help me expecially with the baby. Food was good, abundant and we had a wide choice of dishes every day (we've always found a starters buffet, choice among three different kind of pasta, the same for main course, vegetable buffet, and the last but not the least, a wonderful buffet of desserts). I walked every morning to Spiaggia dell'Ancora which is 5 minutes far from the hotel, while to go to the outstanding beach la Pelosa, the hotel is operating a shuttle service free of charge. So, good value for money!!!!!
