We stayed at the Hotel for two nights and it was absolutely great! The room was quite small, but enough for two people, with the sea view on the side :)) There was room for all stuff, which you take with you on your holidays! It was clean, comfortable and very nice! Bathroom was big and clean. And what was the biggest advantage - LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! Close to restaurants, beach and port! What would you want more?? I definitely recommend stay at Cala Luna.

Also there is nice restaurant at the Hotel and drink bar as well with the beach and sea view, and with very comfortable chairs.

I would only add a small airer for the towels, to dry. And maybe a small drawer or few shelves in the bathroom. To put your stuff... one small chair is not enough... especially for woman :)

Rooms are clean and with a great view of the sea. The staff is vey helpful. Try the boat trip arranged through the reception. Nice beaches and nice snorkling with only 12 passengers on board. Breakfast is good. Best recommendations. Only problem is parking...

Cala Gonone is a touristic spot with several hotels to stay in what can make it hard to decide which one to book since most of them are getting good ratings. With a super helpful and friendly service (one even gave us a mosquito coil when we asked how we could switch of the light of our balcony), clean rooms and a convenient location the hotel Cala Luna is definitely a good option among those. Based only a few meters from the beach, the rooms with sea view are superb and the balconies a great spot to relax after a day outdoor. You have a great view from the rooftop terrace and drinks can be ordered from the hotel's bar across the road. Never the less, the bathrooms are not from the same quality as the rooms since they are a bit small and the towels are surprisingly thin though effectively. They seemed a bit unhappy that we didn't book their boat trip as we decided to rent our own motor boat but no hassling at all. The breakfast is great and sitting outside enjoying the sea and the sun converts the morning into a great start into the day. Wlan is available for free, but you must pay a three Euro "installation fee" which seems a little bit odd nowadays - offering a service which is widely considered as standard but trying to get some money out of it?! Anyway: Great place and ah, did I mention it? Take a room with sea view & hire your own boat - you shouldn't miss it!

The hotel is elegantly furnished and the beds are comfortable. It is quiet - great for a good night's sleep, and opening the electric blinds in the morning lets in the sun and views of the sea and harbour. The breakfast would satisfy any except those looking for a eggs and bacon.
Across the road beside the beach here are tables and comfy chairs to sip your drinks.
The staff are helpful and some speak good English.
We managed to get free on-street parking right beside the hotel, but I guess this could be a problem during busy periods.
