The Cala Luna is a stylish and extremely comfortable hotel in a fabulous position right next to the sea. The beach outside is really good - great for snorkelling and swimming and nowhere near as crowded as the hotel's namesake. The restaurant is excellent. We took half board most nights and were extremely well fed. The room (78, the best in the hotel) was perfect, with a breathtaking view of the sea and two balconies, slightly shaded by bougainvillea. You could have a shower while looking over the ocean. The one problem: a couple of the breakfast waitresses are bad-tempered and sometimes actually rude. They can't stand it when you sit at the wrong table. Trouble is, it's not obvious where you are supposed to sit, so unless they change their arrangements or just lighten up a little, they are always going to be in a bad mood! It sounds a bit petty to mention this, but it does kind of ruin your day when you are trying to have a nice holiday and the staff are rude to you. I would give this hotel top marks if it wasn't for that.
