I spent 10 days in Arbatax Park Resort, Villagio, room 196, from 6-16th, September 2011. Beautiful surroundings and nice weather are „ the gift of God“ and I send my compliments for cleanleness, regular room service and kindness of the staff. But I also have some complaints:
- the deck-chairs on the beach have no mattresses which proves to be very uncomfortable after a few minutes of lying on them. It is unthinkable that an Italian 4-star resort cannot provide them, although in countries like Tunisia, Turkey or Egypt , deck-chairs always go with ones.
- the choice of cakes is catastrophic! Cream with few drops of colour or some flavour (frozen or not), puddings... Intolerable!
- apart from all available facilities, the resort could offer at least one area for naturists. My suggestion is the small beach at the south of the penninsula ( I think it is called Baia de Cottage). It is isolated quite enough so that it would be satisfactory for both the nudists and those who don`t approve of it.
Generally speaking, this holiday was nice because the conditions were entirely different from what I got used to. Frankly, I don’t think I would come again. But, if I give it a second thought and when my impressions settle down, I might change my mind.
Give my best regards to Achile, the animator. He deserves to become „ the registered mark“ of the resort, needless to say the Arbatax Park maskote!

I was there for 2 whole weeks with my boyfriend.
The personel is not at all trainned for the job i think that there are ypung people who are just looking for a job during the summer.
Not at all suitable place for families.
Its a huge village and the personel cannot handle all the visitors. I need to call the reception they answered 27 minutes later and they told me that they are very busy to answer earlier. So is there is an emergency......FORGET IT U ARE ALONE WITH NO HELP.
Its is very tiring to walk it through and u always have to wait for a bus that comes every 20 minutes BUT you will loose it at least once since its always full. Moreoverit was very unfair that i was waiting in the line first and i could not enter the bus since there is a fight everytime who will go in, and NO PERSONEL THERE TO CONTROL THE TRAFFIC!
The biggest disadvantage was the transfers, VERY TIRING!
another is that a lot people of the personel DONT talk English and VERY POOR ITALIAN ! amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
However the village is beautiful its is a very nice setting indeed!
and the food was very good.
Generally, if you have a family dont even think to go there and speaking for myself no way to go back.
Last point the price is super expensive for what they offer!!!

We had found the Arbatax Park Resort online and booked a week at the resort. After that we read review of the place here at the trip advisor and we became a bit reluctant about the place. Today we return from the most wonderfull week in a little piece of paradise. The place is just wonderful. Beautiful scenery, Lots and lots of flowers. Very friendly staff who was very aware of our children. Funny shows at night which worked for every age and nationality. We can only recommend the place!
