Easily reached on foot from Trani's train station, the Hotel Royal is also within a pleasant walking distance (perhaps 15 or 20 minutes) to Trani's harbor and its magnificent cathedral. Delightful English-speaking desk staff appeared to take pleasure in helping their guests enjoy their city, and the waiter who served breakfast had a charming knack for making people laugh. The breakfast buffet included a nice selection of foods and was served in a lovely room with a wall of garden-side windows. My room was quite, comfortable, and nicely appointed.

“Hotel Royal in Trani is not a good choice”

We didn't like the hotel for a lot of reasons. The hotel is located in a good place and you can easily reach the city centre, but its'not cheap at all expecially for the price of the garage (9 euros/day) and to have your breakfast in the room (2,50 euros for person: in Italy is more of the price you pay in a good bar!). You dont'have a warm welcome and the furniture is terrible! It's really possible to find better and cheaper accomodation in Italy...
