The Windsor Inn is a bed and breakfast in Cambridge that's really close to the MIT campus. It is a house with 6 or 7 rooms. My parents were visiting from out of country and they stayed there for a month. They absolutely loved it! It is a great value and inexpensive compared to hotels in the area, especially for long term stays and during rush times like commencement.

The house seems to have been renovated recently, so it is in very good condition. It is very beautifully done up with Chinese decorations. There is a private bathroom with every room. The room has lots of amenities like iron, iron board, clock, AC, TV, cable, telephone and internet. Both the rooms we stayed in also had lots of storage space. Complimentary breakfast is provided to the guests. There is also a second kitchen upstairs where you can cook your own food and a refridgerator to store your food. The innkeepers are really nice and sweet people.

Also, it is located midway between the 2 subway stations (Kendall and Central on the red line) and so it is a 10-15 minute walk to the subway, which is really convenient. Overall, I recommend this inn to anyone who is looking for more than a hotel around the MIT and Harvard area.
