Do not let the "newly renovated" sign out front fool you, their renovations are lacking. I stayed in this hotel last night and was very disappointed. The first room they gave me had hair and dust bunnies on the bed sheets. It smelled bad and after two hours of waiting for someone to change the sheets, I finally asked the front desk to just move me to a different room. They gladly did so, but this one had dead roaches and bugs on the bathroom floor, and the shower had lots of hair in it.
Regarding the renovations, a little common sense and spending just a few more dollars would have gone a long way. Why put in refrigerator and then enclose it in a cabinet so that it traps all the heat so it can't effectively cool? Dropping in large whirlpool tubs is a nice touch, but why not spend the extra few pennies to properly grout the tile instead of just slapping in some silicone over it? Maybe replacing the rusted hinges and tissue dispenser would have been money well spent too.
The only positive is that it was moderately quiet, other than the loud rattle of the air conditioner as it blows cold air across the bed.
I have stayed in other similarly designed Comfort Suites that were so far better and most of all, CLEAN. (I can forgive a lot, but a lack of cleanliness is not one of those things.)
