Our second night driving Route 66 found us at another Comfort Inn in Springfield, IL, where again we found a very clean, spacious, comfortable room with friendly staff. Breakfast was very adequate with either scrambled or hardboiled eggs, sausage, the usual bread & cereal items, yogurt, cubed cheeses, etc. My only negative is our door to the hallway stuck...big deal! Give me clean and comfortable and the right price.

I have stayed in lots of hotels. The Comfort Inn is the absolute very best I have ever stayed in. I have severe back pain and usually I wake up super stiff from hotel beds. Not Comfort Inn !! They have the softest and most comfortable beds I have ever experienced in a hotel!!!!!

I stayed in C Inn in Oklahoma the day before staying in this one and I have to say it was quite a difference. The staff appears nice but not very professional it feels like they just wait to bad mouth every guest behind their back... Besides an old gummy bear I found behind one of the coffee tables, my room was clean. The hotel itself was just dated and you should get more for the money you pay...

I always liked Comfort Inn and this one really disappointed me. Room smelled bad, tile on the bathroom floor was out, bed was not even. felt old and not taken care of. Its is definitely not worth the money and there are plenty of good hotels in the area that are better for the same price.
