The room was tiny the front desk could never get my loyalty program on the reservation and the continental breakfast was just plastic wrapped danished and coffee. I did not feel comnfortable walking in barefeet in the room and the bed was like a rock.

We decided to head to Springfield as a weekend getaway last minute! Figured we would grab a room when we got in to town somewhere!! WE have stayed at Super 8's before and never had any problems!!

Got checked in and when we did the woman at the service desk automatically told us that there was prob gonna be some people partying about 2 doors down!! And that if we wanted to get breakfast to get down there first thing because they had alot of people check in all at once due to a storm and didnt know if there was enough! Got in the room and beds were about 1 ft off the ground like it was only a box spring or just a mattress!! Walls had some kind of "stains" running down them all over the place!!!
All through the night we heard people yelling and screaming at each other!!
Very dissappointed

My husband & I were visiting family in Springfield IL. We have always heard pretty good things about Super 8. But OMG this is the worst motel we have ever stayed in.... The bathroom had mold, the hardest mattress's ever, carpet dirty... Just plain BAAAAAAD !!!!!!!

I am currently sitting IN the room as I type. I am attending a conference in springfield today and tomorrow and my workplace is paying for my stay at the Hilton this evening, but I decided to come down a day early and stay someplace inexpensive last night so I wouldn't have the long drive the next day. The room was booked online and was very cheap, but I would rather have paid an extra 20 or 30 dollars and gotten something decent. I have a queen room- and that's all it is a queen bed (which sits about 1 foot off of the ground- very strange), a chair, and a tv. The hand towels are not clean (looks like makeup stains on the backside of the towels)- maybe they just turned them around so the outside looked clean? Water pressure sucks...AND just went down to their "SUPERSTART" breakfast and all there is is : CEREAL and 2 lonely english muffins there. No oatmeal, no fruit, no pastries, nada. The coffee tastes like hot water and the orange juice machine just spits out water. Pillows are barely pillows- look like pancakes (thankfully I brought my own) and there are lots of cracks in the walls in the bathroom. Definitely would not recommend- and I am not a picky person.
