After my eyes adjusted to the dark, I understood why most of the lights were out on the second floor -- its disgusting. The carpet is stained, the walls are filthy. The stairwell looks like it hasnt been vacummed in a month. The worst part: the ice machine on the second floor was broken---the first floor ice machine, in the room with the laundry facilities-- has mold growing all over where the tray should be. The dining area looks like they just picked up the food leftovers from breakfast and put them away, and forgot to clean the counter containers, really nasty. The mattress was old, thin and hard.

This place needs everything! Also someone tore the boat cover off the new boat we were transporting we think they were looking for the battery. If it hadn't been so late we would have stayed somewhere else-very unsatisfied.

We did not pay much for the hotel, and that is what we got in return. The rooms were not clean, the bed was uncomfortable, the towels were stained, and the elevator left me a little nervous.

I agree that the operators of this hotel apparently do not value customer satisfaction. We booked this motel 3 weeks in advance and requested 2 ground floor rooms. My mother is in a wheelchair and requires us to take oxygen equipment with us. When we booked the rooms, we were told that was no problem. We could definitely have ground floor rooms. When we got there we were told there were no ground floor rooms available. There were only 3 cars in the parking lot!! We were placed on the second floor and had to get my mother's oxygen equipment into the elevator and then on down to the room. The next morning when we were leaving, we noticed there were only 6 cars in the whole parking lot! I can't imagine that ALL of the ground floor rooms were unavailable!! Sure wish I had read the other reviews BEFORE we booked this motel! I agree, the hallways did smell! There was an ice machine on the second floor, but it didn't work. We had to go back down to the first floor to get ice!! We'll never stay there again!
