As the title states, there were a lot of good things about the hotel:
Good:
-It was central, and since it was the second tallest building, pretty easy to find
-Location was great because there are some good dining choices and bars within walking distance
-It was clean
-Parking was a very low $8/day which is nearly unheard of when traveling
-The front desk was very accommodating in switching my first room that had a stale smoke odor
-The workout facility was good (large, decent number of machines)
The not so Good:
-The rooms are uniquely shaped and bathrooms a bit small
-The walls did seem a bit thin
-The rooms are getting a little worn
The Bad:
-This completely threw me...what kind of business hotel charges its business guests $1/page to print documents in the business center?? Further, you had to pay to even access the business center computers. I had to print a document, so I emailed it to myself in order to open my web mail and print from the business center...like I have done at every other business hotel. I incurred a $14 charge to log in and print my document. I think that is ABSURD! Plus, the "USB" attached to the printers in the business center are large and outdated
-The Starbucks that I assume was run by the hotel...one morning, I ordered a Venti bold...she pours me a Venti Pikes roast...ok, fine, so I said, excuse me I asked for bold. Instead of pouring me a new cup, like any other Starbucks would, she dumped my coffee back into the Pike coffee and poured my new coffee in the same cup. I know this seems ticky-tacky, but it's not what you would expect from a Starbucks.
-I asked the front desk what time Starbucks opened and they said 6:30 when it was really 6:00. I know you think not a big deal, but it is if you are budgeting your time around that.
Judging from the other hotels, I will definitely stay here again, but I just thought the "bad" items were worth mentioning.
