I travel every week for work and came across this hotel some time ago and I will drive out of my way to stay at this hotel. Stacy and Amy and Joe are the best and make you feel at home and they remember what you like and spoil you. If you are traveling through the state of illinois and need a great hotel this is the place for you.

PS. Tell them the Gasman said to take care of you.

Room Tip: All rooms are great and quiet. Also can't beat the hot cookies.

“Winter Blast at the Hilton Garden Inn Springfield”

There was a recent winter blast that struck the area and prevented me from traveling up North. I needed a place to stay so I chose the Hilton Garden Inn. I was welcomed to excellent customer service, beautiful facalitiy and a very clean room. I couldn't of been more happy to find this oasis in the terrible weather conditions. Thank you!

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on Jan 12-13 of this year, It was just a little getaway from work and school. The property, even in the poor weather, was immaculate. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was greated by a staff member. My registration took less than 2 minutes to complete. The accomodations were excellent. There was nothing out of place. In additional to the in house restaurant, there is a variety of restaurants nearby offering something to suit anyones taste, All of the historical attractions are only a few minutes away. There are several shopping centers within 15 minutes driving.

“Excellent Experience at Hilton Garden Inn Sprinfield”

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn from Dec 30th-31st while visiting Springfield. The Hilton Garden Inn was conveniently off the highway and within short driving distance of the Lincoln Tomb, Lincoln Museum, Lincoln Mansion, and State Capital Building. The interior of the hotel was immaculate and I honestly thought it looked better in person than the pictures on the website. Additionally, as opposed to the Hilton Tower in downtown Springfield, this Hilton was more economically priced and offered free parking. Internet access is available complimentary for both wired and wireless options. The breakfast buffet was roughly $10 a person, but contained many options! Select fruits were available 24/7 complimentary at the front desk and in the evenings there were a free batch of cookies. Overall, for a hotel off the highway in Central Illinois, this rated 5 stars out of 5 easy!

We just ended an 8 night stay at the Hilton Garden. What a wonderful experience - really felt like home away from home. The rooms were very nice and the beds are amazing! The open lobby area was beautiful and comfortable. Sitting my the fire, having breakfast or unwinding at the end of the day in the cozy bar area.

With all that said, I have to give the biggest compliment to the staff from the front desk to the dining area for dinner or drinks. All most everyone was friendly and accommodating. By the end of the trip it was sad to say "good-bye". We kind of got use to their happy faces.

Note to Management: Thought twice about bringing this to your attention but it truly was a factor in our stay. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and we ate there the first 2 mornings. Then a new staff member (Sarah) began morning service. She has no regard for the wishes of the customer. She's bold, loud and although I think she thinks it's funny, she is very offensive. The last morning we ate there was the same morning she upset a gentleman that wanted a waffle 10 minutes before closing, Sarah called him "evil" because she wanted to get started with cleanup. He was not happy and we found it rude. Sarah needs coaching that people often enjoy breakfast reading the paper or engaging in conversation with their spouses and/or family & friends or just quiet time. She is so intrusive that we ended up having the rest of our breakfasts at Bob Evans.

We will be back again except for minus breakfast.
