What more can I say about this wreck of a motel other than this...when my poor mother entered the room and turned on the air conditioner, there were at least 10 spiders crawling on it. She started crying and I immediately took action and got us outta there FAST. The walls were filthy and cracked. The sink was disgusting. The carpet was disgusting, the bathroom was....DISGUSTING! I recommend that if you are on a car trip and you need to stay overnight in Springfield, IL on the spur of the moment...stay at the Drury Inn and Suites. I can't believe that this property is still in business! AWFUL

If I could give a ZERO rating, I would.

We booked a room at this hotel for one of our clients, but his trip was cancelled last minute. I called SEVERAL MINUTES after 4pm, and the general manager would not BUDGE from the cancellation policy and charged us full price for the room. We have NEVER had this problem with any other hotel chain. We will not be booking with Days Inn anytime soon.

PS: General Manager is so rude. Considering our conversation, I can only imagine how he speaks to his guests.

This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stepped foot in. I did expect economy class but I did not expect filth. the property is completely run down and absolutely filthy. I checked out after spending 20 minutes in my room. I did not receive a refund since I prepaid but it was worth the loss to not have to stay there. Horrible in EVERY way.

Good stay - rooms were slightly dirty, and had not had the towels fully replaced from the last visit - which I suspect was some time ago - This wasn't a huge issue and I always appreciate how difficult the cleaning staff's job must be. The pool was good for the kids - the hotel is a little dated, but pretty much what I expected when I made the reservations - met our needs of having a place to sleep for the night while we traveled.
