Very clean with courteous staff! Highly recommend!

I travel daily for business and have seen my fair share of good and bad hotels. Microtel always delivers. The bed were extremely comfortable. I don't remember any issues with the bathrooms. Very neat. Very clean. Very friendly. I always remember our stays at Microtel as being the best. Not very many places to eat in this area but there is a little bar in walking distance that serves decent food. I would completely recommend. No complaints.

I stayed here on business several times years ago when it was brand new. This time I stayed over traveling with my two dogs. To my amazement it was still clean, comfortable, & friendly just as it was when it was new! Carpet a little worn now but so what?! Immediately, Carlos at the front desk greeted me by name & acknowledged my request for ground floor with the two dogs without my asking about it. He was glad to tell me that not only was I on the ground floor, he thought I'd like being right next to the side door for easy dog potty & car access. I could not have been happier!!! I've made this request to numerous hotels & finally someone listened, accomodated, & even went an extra step! The room was spotless. Usually you find water spots or even mold on the ceiling in hotel bathrooms, but not here! The bathroom was bright white and possibly freshly painted. Coming in late I appreciated the 10% discount at the IHOP right on the grounds to conveniently carry-out din-din! The breakfast area was neat & well maintained with a good variety for continental breakfast. This is the second Microtel I've stayed at with great results. I'll be seeking them out in the future. We received a free upgrade which was very nice. The corners and baseboards were dusty, but otherwise very clean. We will continue to look for Microtels wherever we travel.
