the sissi mare is in the fishing village of sissi, crete, we have been going there for the last 12 years and for the last 6 years we have been staying at the sissi mare so you can guess that we enjoy it. the apartments are situated 20 metres from the sea and over look the picture perfect harbour. Sophie and her two sons give you a warm welcome and are always there to help. The apartments are very clean and spacious with cooking facilities, there is also a swimming pool. Good value for money. We would recommend the sissi mare to anyone.

We have been going to the Sissi Mare for the last few years and will be going back again next year. The apartments run by Sophie and her family are the best we have stayed in on our many trips abroad, very large and well equipped and in an ideal location for a relaxing holiday.
I don't usually recommend anywhere we have stayed because people have different views of what they are looking for,but in this case I have no problem, if you decide to go you will not be dissapointed and like us you will certainly be going back again.
Sissi is simply a great place for a relaxing holiday away from it all where you watch the sun go down with a ice cold drink and let life slip quietly past.

We have been staying at Sissi Mare Appartments since 2003. We recieve the same friendly, warm welcome every time, even at 0300 in the morning when flights are delayed! It is not so much visiting a resort, more like visiting family.
The apartments are always clean and tidy, spacious and cool with lovely balconies and sea views. The swimming pool is always welcoming.
We always book direct with the owners, finding flights separately since finding Sissi Mare Apartments through a package deal originally.
We love it here and are planning to return soon.

I was the last may at Sissi mare app. and not for first time. Like every time it was perfect.
Sea view , balkonys, swiming pool close to the sea, big appartments, airconditions, and very friendly family who's there to help you with what ever you need. All the above is way I recomend you that hotel 100%.
