Just back from a lovely relaxing week and couldnt fault this hotel.We only had a luxury room and not a deluxe but it was modern,very clean and had everything we needed.

The grounds are spotless and the staff friendly and efficient.

We only had breakfast which was lovely.the orange juice is orange squash but for anyone to complain about that is petty.

There are alot of hungry kittens who the staff dont like you to feed and i did at times find it difficult eating breakfast with a cute kitten sat by my feet crying.im a great cat lover and the resort is teeming with them.

The resort itself is not dramatically pretty but i felt it had great character and maybe some of the best music bars i have been in.Special mention to The Hemingway for great music and chat,the Captain Jack for friendly staff the 70s music and the great view and finally Peggy Gordons for probebly being the best irish bar for live music i have been in apart from Dublin.

All in all a lovely chilling place.Enjoy.

The Angela Suites is a clean and well presented 4* hotel. The little things that make a hotel 5* such as toiletries, a nice balcony view and real orange juice for breakfast were missing. Our balcony (312) faced the wall of the opposite appartments (and the guests using the walkway) we also had a good view of the back doors of the building next door and the washing line on the roof. None of this was a problem but not what you would expect from a 5* hotel. We have stayed in 4* hotels all over the world that pay more attention to detail - its a shame, just a little more effort would make all the difference as they are 'nearly there'. It would seem from the reviews that the standard you get depends on the room you are allocated.

As with every other establishment in Sissi it was over-run with cats- not great if you are not a cat lover as they swarm around you as soon as your food arrives but they do not beg - they just hang around hopefully!. Sissi itself is a little on the scruffy side, but the restaurants in general served good food and wine with good humour.The walk to Milatos was a nice 3km stroll with only another kilometre or so to the traditional village. There are a couple of shingle beaches a couple of hundred metres from the hotel and a sandy beach with clear water can be accessed (short walk over the rocks) from the smallest of these beaches. We do not generally return to a resort for the second time and this sadly is no exception which is a pity as we had expected more from Crete

My boyfriend and I came here for 10 days, the hotel was lovely and relaxing.
Our rooms were cleaned daily and they were comfortable and luxurious.
Sissi is a quiet town, which was just what we were looking for, relaxed by the pool in the sunshine, had some lovely food and generally had a well deserved rest.

This is truly a wonderful place to stay. Our standards are high and we are very picky travellers, who hope for cleanliness, comfort and a bit of style. Had read some negative reviews but we certainly didn't meet with any problems We booked a luxury suite which is well worth the money as the suite itself was delightful. The building and grounds are kept absolutely spotless, with the pool area being washed each and every day.

We will certainly return to this hotel. Only one problem encountered - the floor of the room was never swept properly and even though I did mention it to reception, there was no improvement.
