All the front desk staff could do was complain about the new computer system. The manager came out a couple times to help them and looked inconvenienced. Room mediocre. Terrible example of Holiday Inn Ex, do not recommend.

I had booked this room online through Holiday Inn. I had Priority Points to use and decided this was the closest one to our destination. Upon checking in, the gentleman at the front desk was OK but not very professional. His shirt was untucked and he looked as if he had gotten in an arguement with a vacuum cleaner.......... He did direct us to our room, after I had asked. They put us in a room directly off the elevator with 2 double beds and a bathroom that you could barely turn around in. The room was incredibly small. For a family of four, we were very cramped, not the traditional Holiday Inn that we are use to. Come on Holiday Inn. I have spent over $1400 to get a free room. If this is what you get, I will start with another chain. We were also informed that the hottub was not working, apparently since Jan. (according to another review). We were greatly disappointed in the breakfast. We arrived around 9:20am to find nothing but dirty tables and nothing warm (except the milk), two bagels, two waffles, one 1/2 pot coffee. I wish I would have spent my money and stayed somewhere else. What a disappointment to the Holiday Inn name!

The hotel itself was average or, maybe, slightly below. The directions to find it were awful. There is no easy way to get to it if you are going west on I-680 as there is no exit to J Street. The staff was polite but certainly not friendly. We were there for one night in mid-March, 2005. Breakfast was okay but we had to test all the coffee urns to find the hot one. I am disappointed with the wide variation in quality between the various Holiday Inn Express hotels.

My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express the last week of December 2004. It was the one at 10729 J Street in Omaha. This was a less than wonderful experience.

First of all several of the websites for the motels in Omaha say that this Holiday Inn has full sized refrigerators in every room and the suites have the smaller refrigerators. This was NOT true. No refrigerators
at all in the rooms.

Next disappointment was that they had an indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi whirlpool beside the pool. We were told that the jacuzzi whirlpool was not available for use, as it was being reconstructed. I truly think that was a lie because there was no sign of construction going on and they merely had a cover over it. I think this was done so that they didn't have to clean or maintain it.

Next disappointment was that the beds squeak. I didn't know a bed could still do that. Their beds could though.

Next disappointment was at the complimentary breakfast bar. The Holiday Inn Express people have commercials about their breakfast bars. It's certainly not the place I would expect to find that the bagels were stale. My advise is to forget this one at 10729 J Street and drive the extra 20 minutes or so and stay in the Holiday Inn Express in Fremont Nebraska instead.
