plain on outside , but nice inside. Lobby and common areas were clean, as was the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful (she was baking cookies when we arrived-aroma was heavenly!) Coffee maker and hairdryer in room -no fridge and micro(didnt need just for 1 nite) Beds were very comfortable-pillowtop mattresses!-had a great nights sleep. Nice continental breakfast w/ waffles--would stay here again when in the area.. Only drawback it is a way from the interstate.(but still easy to get to)

Nasty hotel. Do not stay here! Beds are just as hard as sleeping on the floor. They were changing beds in other rooms to new ones but didn't change ours. We stayed there for two nights and our back was hurting us from bed and worn out dirty recliner. Also the keycard entry wouldn't work half the time to gain the entrance closer to our room. Will not stay here ever again. Had to go elsewhere to stay. Employees didn't seem to care that beds were hard or that couldn't get in half time with keycard entry. Was cheap, but wasn't worth it.

I really don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. We had to stay there for two nights since my sister in law had surgery at the hospital here. They gave us a discounted rate because of our stay which was nice. The gentleman who ran the front desk was exceptional. The service was phenomenal. The breakfast was decent. The beds were comfortable. The only complaint I had was the water pressure in our room was terrible. Other then that we enjoyed our stay.

We arrived for a late checkin and didn't find the staff person overwhelming nice or charming. Didn't feel all that important. We checked in and after being on the road I just wanted a nice hot shower. Immediately upon entering the room I concluded that the hotel had seen it's day and the sun had set. While it "appeared" that the hotel was maintained the truth was that it was long over do for some major upgrading. In particular I wanted other travelers to know what they would be paying for and what I was very upset to spend my money on. I want anyone reading this review to also know that I didn't have super high expectations and knew this was to be a value hotel. We travel with a large dog and find that very often Super 8s are pleasant and pet-friendly and sometimes a great deal! When I went to take my shower I looked over the towels and they were disappointing. They were very worn and didn't look very clean. I went up to the front desk and asked for extra towels stating that we needed "extra" because the towels were a little small. This was my polite way of asking for new towels without criticizing anyone. When the women went in the back and brought me towels that were similar, I was a little disappointed but was hoping for the best. When I went to take a shower I noticed that there were marks, stains, faint but there and big enough to cause concern. I had given them a chance and I ended up using clean clothes from my suitcase to dry off. The sad thing for me was to pay someone for a really bad experience. I went to sleep feeling cheated, not very clean, and sad because I read reviews of the hotel before coming and I thought it would be more acceptable. I don't find it to be when I have to do something like I did. I feel like it was a waste of my money but I was traveling and I was tired and you have to trust fellow traveler's and the hotel themselves. I was very let down. In the morning my fiance told the woman at the desk in response to how our stay was that it indeed had been not so good and that I was a bit upset and maybe they should get new towels. The woman told my fiance that "she would tell housekeeping about it." This was far from satisfactory and there wasn't much customer service recovery on this one.
