We were in town for a convention. We were also looking for a bar or club to go to that night. One of the places we wanted to check out called Pulse was right next door to the Super 8 motel so we figured it would be a good place to stay for the night. They gave us a great rate and the rooms were not that bad. Its a Super 8 not a Holiday Inn so dont expect alot of aminities but for a one night stay it worked perfect for us. The WIFI worked great and we got checked in and out with no problems. If your looking for a reasonable place to stay on the west side of omaha this is a great location and if you are looking for a fun bar/club PULSE was alot of fun and had reasonable drink prices and you dont even have to worry about a taxi fare home!

This property has few special amenities, but for the price it's a good deal. The hotel isn't new, but appears to be kept up pretty well, and our room was clean. The staff was friendly and seemed concerned about its patrons. Free cookies when we checked in! The free breakfast was nothing special (very little fresh fruit available, for one thing), but all in all we felt we got a good deal and would readily stay here again anytime we just needed a place to sleep before heading onward.

The hotel had a funny smell to it. Some floors had a strong cigarette smoke odor. Our room had a really weird smell to it, and I don't know exactly what it was. We checked in to a non-smoking room, but the room we were given was very smokey so we switched. The carpets were OK, the bed was comfortable, the wireless worked fine. The grossest part of the room was the bathroom. The shower curtain was dirty and stained, the bathtub was pretty gross, the floors had some stains on it. The water pressure was horrible. There wasn't a lot to choose from in the continental breakfast, just a few types of bread, bagels, and english muffin, and 2 different kinds of cereals.

Overall, it was a decent hotel, considering the price.

Stayed at this hotel as a mid-point on my two-state trip. Check-in was easy, and the hotel wasn't that hard to find. The room was clean, everything worked, and the staff I saw were friendly. The price was very good (around $50). The only issue I had was with the high speed internet. It was weak on the one end of the building and had a tendency to cut in and out. Didn't need it that often, but it would have been irritating if I absolutely had to have internet access. I'd stay here again.
