I stayed in thisplace in 1990 when it was a Residence Inn. Back then it was very nice. In 20 years, not much has changed. The rooms are clean but they're showing signs of wear. Some of the furniture is old, as well as the TV. The place has a kitchenette, but the only good thing about it was the refridgerator & microwave. A lot of the dishes and flatware are missing. The coffee pot did not have the proper carafe, so it didn't work. There is a stove but I didn't use it. On the good side it still has a fireplace that uses Duraflame logs. There's lots of room; a nice sitting area by the fireplace and a queen bed. This is a decent place for those wanting a lot of room or if you want a short romantic stay on a budget. Plenty of restaurants and a grocery store close by.

During my stay the hotel changed hands. It is now the Aspen Ridge Extended Stay. Let's see what they do with the place......

I Just loved how this really felt like a home away from home! The Living room was soo nice and big and the fould away bed was really great. The kitchen was a really good size without taking up to much space and it came with plate settings for four, pots, pans, and a large coffee maker. i would sure come back if we ever go back to NE.

The service was okay. The steps up to the second floor room were very ricketty, the whole place was in need of a good repair man. The room was less then clean. We wondered how long it had been since someone had stayed in this room and would not walk barefoot! The bedding was yellowed and paper thin, did not feel comfortable sleeping between these sheets. The bedding should have been recycled years ago. It's Halloween time, but the spiderwebs and spider in our room wasn't very impressive!

Drove to Omaha the night before a surgery so we were just there to sleep. Arrived late to find an unfriendly and a little scary front desk clerk. No worries. He told us what building to go to, but we had no idea where the room was. We walked around the dark building to find our room door surrounded by cob webs. Room had a terrible musty and moldy smell. Bed was terrible, pillows were paper thin. Large vent on the wall was covered in thick dust so we had to turn off the AC. We both got up 2 hours early after not sleeping feeling quite congested from whatever is growing in that room. Dissapointing. Cheap for $79, but felt much more like $39. Call the Health Department before calling this place.
