“Dirty, Dirty , Dirty!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2010

My family booked three rooms in this hotel for one night. We wanted to have all of our rooms on the same floor. The room where my sister stayed was extremely dirty. Housekeeping did not clean it before we got there. So they had to be moved to a room downstairs. The new room that they were moved into didn't have a remote for the tv. The room that my mother stayed in did not have any air conditioning. After talking to the clerk 3 times they finally moved her to a room downstairs. The room that I stayed in was somewhat clean. The beds were actually made, but the floor was quite dirty and the toilet ran all night. We ventured into the pool area. The minute we walked in our eyes started burning from all the chlorine in the pool. The "heated" pool was definitely not heated. We stayed there for about 5 minuted before we decided that if we stayed there any longer our children would probably end up very sick from the filth. They did have a nice continental breakfast. But if you want their "Belgian" waffles you better get there early because we had to wait in line for 45 mins. to use the 1 waffle maker. I definitely would not stay there againand I would not recommend this place to anyone.

“We didnt even get what we paid for”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2010

Thank god for GPS, this place was on a back street and kinda creepy area. We arrived the first night about 2am. The rooms were not very clean and had to ask for toilet paper, and towels. The second night we moved to a different room and it was even worse. There was a pair of dirty socks behind the door, trash in the closet, had to ask for towels and yes, toilet paper again. When I went to take a shower, there was a dirty ring around the tub, REALLY. what do the maids even do. I work in a motel and i we would never let our maids get away with cleaning the way these rooms had been cleaned. Didnt even attempt to use the pool. Would never stay here again, the pictures on the website must have been taken when the place was first built cause its not like that now

“I guess you get what you pay for...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 March 2010

Our room was cheap for a larger city, but to me it was not worth it. Working in a hotel myself I did not complain, although there was much to complain about. The floors were dirty, there was paint chipping off in the bathrooms, beds were uncomfortable, rooms were dimly lit, and the pool looked so questionable that I didn't bother getting in. The representative who checked us in was fairly courteous, although he didn't say much. It was also very hard to find and the location wasn't ideal.

“great value ONLY if you are a smoker”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2009

I smelled cigarette smoke on my way into the room but was too tired to worry about it. This was a HUGE mistake. I woke up the next morning with a whopping headache and threw up a few minutes after leaving the property. Our "non-smoking" room had more cigarette smoke in it than any bar. I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a non-smoking room on the property. I knew we choose the lowest priced hotel around but to get sick from a stay in a hotel for any price in unacceptable!

“Don't arrive after dark”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2009

This is located off the main road down an ill-lit street. Very sketchy area. As a solo female, I felt very uneasy. Luckily I arrived before the sun went down and felt okay to just lock myself in the room for the evening, but I did spend a lot of time worrying about my car being broken into. I am a budget-traveler, but even the room itself was lacking in the most basic of things: the toilet wouldn't flush; the advertised high-speed wireless internet wouldn't work in the room; my non-smoking hall was still drenched in the smell of cigarette smoke. If I were to do this again, I would spend the extra ten dollars to get another hotel. There was a Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn around the corner on the main road that looked much more reliable.
