The location of the travelodge is a great location. Perkins was across the parking lot and there was a burger king across the street as well as a gas station. I-80 is off to the left about 2 blocks which will get you to where you are going fast. There was free wi-fi, however to access it instead of sitting in my room i had to go in the hallway to use it. the connection was pretty poor.
They had a waffle maker with fresh batter available to eat, they had 2 kinds of cereal and toast. Apple juice, milk and Orange juice.
The pool was dirty and cold the first night we were swimming, the next day mid afternoon, however it was clean and warm. My children & I got stuck in there elevator the guy at the desk told us to keep pushing the button eventually it will open, I guess i would recommend using the stairs because we did after we got stuck.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
I guess I am giving it such a low rating because the room was VERY SMALL it looked like the scene of the first 48 and it was an old hotel which in my opinion it wasnt up to date, things were old and there was a lot of remodeling and updating they should consider.
I booked online with priceline so the price was what i was looking for. and i guess the saying is correct you get what you pay for right????
However i think we would have been happier at the comfort inn which was the next parking lot over because i could connect to their wifi better than the hotel i was at... strange huh

I went by the photos on priceline.con thinking it was a very nice hotel.... Its ran down the hallway carpet smell of mildew and musk a very foul smell, the sheets were dirty had to change rooms three times because of roaches crawling on the ceiling called priceline.com no refund and couldn't go to another hotel.. This place I will not go to ever again

The filthiest hotel we have ever stayed at! We understand they can raise their rates during the College world series but with a 18% tax that was not disclosed to us until we arrived it was outrageous! Mold, dust and un vacuumed rooms disgusting....

Pool was filthy - cloudy water and film. We got the King room with Jacuzzi. We sunk in the sofa that was in the living area. Bathroom door wouldn't close and very small. Anybody with children I would advise not to go - our 5th floor windows weren't locked and opened easily even when locked and no screen. Roaches were in the breakfast area and coffee was day old. Elevator made lots of noise and hadn't been inspected for two years. It was a total dump.
