Contrary to other reviews, we had a very pleasant stay. We had a suite for smoking, as we had requested (they have only three in the hotel), which was very comfortable. Actually, upon arrival we elected to upgrade to the "honeymoon suite" that included a hot tub and fireplace plus two TVs, refrigerator, microwave and king bed. The walls of the room were decorated with island scenes complete with palm trees, etc. Very unusual. As a previous reviewer noted, the shower curtain was a bit short and you had to use care not to get water on the bath floor. The breakfast was very good and the attendant was always there checking and filling things. The front desk staff was most accommodating and the evening shift front desk clerk, Jason (I understand there are two Jasons working there) was extremely helpful, pleasant and interested in US, not just another customer. Quite refreshing! Check out time is 11:00 but we were able to extend it for an additional hour with no trouble. The location is convenient to I-80 and the Millard area that includes lots of stores and restaurants. Across the highway is a Cracker Barrel. The hotel is on a hill, so it can be quite windy and there are windbreaks built around the outside doors. Also, there is a concrete company behind the building at the bottom of the hill where they work Monday through Saturday. Some noise comes from there. I would think that you'd want to request a room on the front of the building in order to avoid the business noise from behind. In all, it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely stay there again.

The front desk staff was pretty great, very helpful and nice, but that is where my positive comments end. This place is a dump. It is in desperate need of remodeling. The bathroom toilet seat was broken, and there appeared to be crumbs on the carpet next to the bed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

First I should say that I am the worst possible person to have in a hotel because I run one.

This Comfort Inn was in a very good location, right off of I-80 and right in the middle of the different places we had to travel to during our stay.

The staff was very nice and very attentive. The room itself was a standard sized hotel room but with two queen beds instead of two full beds. I took a chance on this place even though the review on Tripadvisor was horrible. I also checked the reviews on the major travel sites before calling the hotel directly.

When I made my reservation, they told me that the whole place had been remodeled. If this is the case then I must have received the only room that was not remodeled. It was clean for the most part, although the toilet did have water stains. I asked the GM to have someone come and scrub it the next morning and the houskeeper came by the next day to do so.

The only other random thing is that the shower curtain was not quite long enough or the shower curtain rod was not installed low enough to keep the curtain in the shower while bathing and it flooded the bathroom.

Overall it was a good experience, everyone was friendly and the lobby itself is set up to where you can go and play cards or sit on the sofa and read or chit chat with other guests. One very neat thing was with the breakfast. There was a machine that dispensed waffle batter so that you could make fresh waffles each morning. There was also an HD flat screen on the wall in the lobby. My family used the pool and complained of too much chlorine (even with being from Florida it seemed to be too much as we could smell it from the parking lot).

As I said at the beginning, I am oerly nit-picky because I run my own place. It was a good experience and I would still recommend this place.

In Omaha on business. Sponsor booked us into this "truck stop". Holes in the comforter, bed made up but sheets never changed the entire week, holes in the wall, no proper heating, toilet did not work, poor service, and roaches in the "Continental Breakfast". Poor front desk service if it is cigarrette break time. Would never stay here again ever!!!! As a matter of fact, I will probably never vist Omaha again!!!!!!
