We stayed at this hotel for only one night during our return to Canada from Rome. I had at first been dismayed that, due to scheduling difficulties, we woud have to break our journey - but in fact we enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much and found that it helped to break the flight. We were much more rested when we got home as a result. We looked into booking a room at one of the hotels closer to the airport at Frankfut-Main, but they were very expensive, and we didn't really want to go into the city. This hotel is in the village of Bad Weilbach, about 15 minutes from the airport and is situated in farming country on the edge of a regional park. We had time to walk some of the trails in the evening and in the morning, and we fell asleep to the sound of birdsong in the nearby woods. A short distance from the hotel is a spring which provides mineral water and the village was a spa in the last century.

The hotel itself is modern, clean and very comfortable. We were really impressed with the staff who welcomed us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. We did not feel up to dinner in the restaurant so they arranged for us to have a made to order sandwich in the comfortable bar. I was very pleased that we found this oasis of calm and definitely recommend it to anyone travelling in the area.
