This resort is run by Odalys (http://www.odalys-vacances.com/) and consists of 5 3-story buildings (ground, 1st, 2nd floor) and apartments for 5 or 7 persons (difference is one extra bedroom). No lifts, parking in front of most houses and gardens and pool area on the opposite side. All have terrace or balcony. No aircon.
The appartments are spacious according to local standards, but furniture is simple and in local design and colours. Kitchenette is very basic, and cookware is of poor quality. Microwave, fridge w/ freezebox, dishwasher, stove and a sink. It worked for my family of 5, but we considered buying Odalys a new frying pan.
The pool area is great, pool is some 6 x 15 m and 0,5-2,5 m deep. Baby pool also. Plenty of sun chairs and space, when we were there, could be scarce in very high season (end July to end August). A Ping-Pong table under a roof next to the pool is great for the kids (and for others who need a bit of shade). A playground is for youngsters (age 3-8), next to a petanque area. The surrounding garden areas are beautiful and well kept.
The service was fine from arrival to exit, always smiling, always trying to help. You will be asked to pay tourist tax upon arrival (0,50 €/adult/night) and an imprint of a credit card as deposit. The reception gives full details of the resort, not much on the area. For this, visit the tourist office in the village (300 meters).
TV is extra and a bit expensive (40 Euro/week), so is cleaning when you leave (52 Euro), but you may choose to clean the apartment yourself. Internet is reasonable (20 Euro/week) and if you stay longer, you can keep on using it until you have been online for 100 hours (took us 2 weeks). Sheets are provided, towels can be rented.
The location is great, on the hillside towards Sainte Maxime (6-8 km down), and with the village square next to it. Good grocery shops and bakers, but expensive restaurants (about 6 in the village), considering the location. A pizza-van is parked nearby most evenings, consider the one with Mergaise at 9 Euro.
The surrounding are very much Cote d'Azur with lots of people in summer, overrated beaches and very expensive everything. Consider going inland and visit the many small villages and the markets, visit Winemakers (the one is the village makes a great Rosé) and the hillery nature.
All in all a great place to stay, and in early July we met 3 other families, that had been here before and decided to come back. Good reference!
