“Fantastic Stay!”

I took my kids on vacation to Lake Mead, and wanted to be closer to the lake than the Vegas/Henderson area. A friend of mine recommended this hotel, and it was fantastic! Free breakfast, free wi-fi, indoor heated pool & spa, clean, large rooms, comfortable beds. The kids liked the pool so much they almost didn't want to head to the lake! Wonderful, knowledgeable staff to boot!

“Grim, gloomy, uncomfortable and way overpriced.”

I took my daughters to this motel in December 2011 because I was told it was the only one in Boulder City with an indoor pool. The website (and brochure) paint a very rosy picture of this place, but in fact it is grim, gloomy and in severe need of a complete renovation. The closet rode fell down to the floor as soon as my daughter tried to hang up some of her clothing. The heater was old-fashioned and noisy. I wonder who designed the building; it looks like some kind of weird spaceship from a bad 1950's movie. To get to the pool, you have to leave your room and walk outside to a dingy, warehouse-style building. Again, a very gloomy place. The hot tub had an appropriate water temperature, but the pool water was cold (and I had been assured it was very warm). I paid over $70 for one night in this place and it was most assuredly not worth it. I would say the rooms are worth $40/night at the most.

Room Tip: Go to a different motel.

“Just okay for one night”

We stopped on our way to Arizona. Check in was fine - room a little dingy. TV dressing stand had a big stain that looked like vomit - put a newspaper on it - it's only one night. Room was a little overpriced.

We enjoyed being able to walk to Totos Mexican restaurant after our 8 hour drive. Very good.

Next morning thought we would have a little of the breakfast which was included. Tried to use juice machine, but didn't work. Only other beverage besides coffee was a vending machine. Rang the lobby bell a few times, but no one came out the entire time we ate our toast. When we went to check out we wondered if anyone would be there. There was a young girl - I mentioned the juice machine wasn't working and she just said - oh I guess I forgot to turn it on.

Probably won't be staying here again.

This is an old hotel that needs updating. We were told there would be a hot breakfast included, I don't call waffles and sausage a hot breakfast. Front desk help was very nice. Room was not worth the $79.00 we paid
