My siblings and I stopped here for the night on a long driving trip. The price was reasonable, $80 for the 4 of us. The room was quite large with 2 queen beds, an easy chair, small fridge & microwave. The owner checked us in and was very nice. The room was interesting. The seam in the carpet which ran across the floor was neatly covered with duct tape. Yep, that lovely silver tape. The dead bolt on our door could only be locked from the outside. What? We wondered who exactly they had to lock in there, and hoped it wouldn't be us. The window only had some old blinds, no curtain so you had some light leakage but the back of the property is on top of a hill, so it wasn't bad. We slept okay, it was quiet. We spent about 8 hours there and left at first light. The parking lot was well lit. Maybe it was just our room that was weird, I don't know. If I come through again, I'll probably try somewhere else. I've never stayed in Boulder City before so I don't know how it compares. It was easy to get to from the highway, with a MacDonalds and a gas station near.
I half expected to see Dean Winchester's muscle car in the parking lot. Now that would have been a nice surprise!
