Even after comfirming with Red Roof on their 1-800-RED-ROOF phone number several times before our trip, once arriving in Anchorage, the desk clerk totally had different reservations. We had reserved one business King room and they had on "their" reservation systems a standard room with two double beds. The clerk said that the "Red Roof" 1-800 line has a different reservations system than theirs even though I showed her the printed confirmation showing the business King as being reserved.
I was amazed and pointed out to her why should people even call and confirm on the 1-800 line when you can have a totally different reservation at the Anchorage location. After telling the clerk that I was going to call the 1-800-RED-ROOF line and vent, she managed to get me my room. So be aware when coming here with a confirmation as you might not get what you are expecting.
Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable, but nothing more than just a place to sleep at night when traveling. Their continental breakfast was ok consisting of a machine for coffee and juice, donuts and bagels.
