Here is the kind of excitement you can expect at this "inn".

ANCHORAGE, Alaska --- One man was killed and another wounded during an early Monday robbery at a downtown Anchorage hotel, police said.

Officers arrived at the low-budget Inlet Inn just after 2:30 a.m. and found the two gunshot victims. One was an employee, the other was his friend.

Lt. Dave Parker, Anchorage police spokesman, said the employee survived wounds to a "fleshy part of the torso," but his friend died in surgery at a hospital. Neither man's name has been released.

According to witnesses, a man wearing a blue bandanna robbed the front desk employee and then shot him. He then shot the other man, who was in the hotel's lobby.

The shooter took off on foot and police are still looking for him.

Investigators have been able to speak with the employee, Parker said. He declined to say how many times the men were shot or how much money was stolen.

Don't stay here , I had a window slightly opened to get more fresh air , a crooked came into my room through my window as I fell asleep for couple of hours, when I woke up I learned tht someone was in my room searching for something and walked out the same way as he entered,I didn't do anything to chase because he didn't take anything ,the following minute he knocked to my room pretending to be a hotel security.
Also the other room who was occupied had a same issue as me ,that same crook who had a room somewhere tried to broke into an opened window and got caught and scared.

This is the most disgusting place I have ever set foot in.
When we arrived there was a drunk snoring in the entrance and a beat up woman wandering around in a daze .
The first room we were shown was filthy and so small we could hardly get around the bed ,we tried another room and made the mistake of flushing the toilet ,which overflowed onto the floor with it's contents ,the next room had no water and was filthy .
This is obviously a place where the druggies and drunks end up after being kicked out of wherever they were ,horrible place for two 70 year olds to end up .We never stayed there ,thank the lord!!!!!
I am very disappointed that it is listed with the travel agents ,looked so good on the internet.

This hotel is the worst hotel in Alaska. Frequented only by hookers and drug dealers. Beds come with vomit from the last several guest, amongst other things. No exaggeration. Do not stay here. Splurge on a much cleaner and safer sidewalk or park bench.
