This B&B is in a residential neighborhood in Anchorage, not far from the airport. The Deals run a popular place and most people seem to stay over the night they arrive in Anchorage. The B&B is in a ranch-style 1960s home with an old-fashioned charm. Our suite had an extra bed and a door opened on a private rooftop deck. The bathroom was remodeled and very clean.
We stayed there on our first and last nights in Anchorage and we sat with one other guest(s) each time at breakfast. On a weekday there were hard-boiled eggs, fruit, bagels, yogurt, cereal, and coffee, self-serve. On the weekend the Deals served eggs and bacon with the above.
We caught salmon on a fishing trip to Soldotna and the Deals took the frozen smoked salmon sent to them by the processor and put it in their chest freezer for us. We picked up the box when we returned to Anchorage. They were very helpful. They are good people. Staying in a B&B is always a roll of the dice, but this time it worked out and the Deals will make you feel welcome and comfortable.
