We were refered to Summerset B&B by another B&B when they were unable to accommodate us. The hostess is MORE than gracious. Her home is filled with Alaskan treasures and they are all on display for you to see and enjoy. Her family has a magnificent hand made dining room set made in Vietnam which wa shipped to her over a three year period. The breakfast was the finest of our ENTIRE trip!! Her husbans is not too talkitive until you begin engaging him in conversation and thn he too is a fascinating man who has been n Alaska his entire life and has flown all over the state.

DO NOT miss this place. you will be passing up one of Alaska's finest stays if you do!

Kim and Mike have a wonderful home. The guests have thier own space and entrance downstairs. There is a huge couch, TV and mini-kitchen downstairs. They are wonderful to visit with and have extensive knowledge of the town. We really enjoyed visiting with Kim and learning about the history of her furniture, very interesting background. The breakfasts were wonderful, you need to ask for her sourdough pancakes and reindeer sausage. I would highly recommend this b and b.
