I first chose Frenchy's Adventure B&B because of the great location (2.5 mi into downtown Anchorage), the friendliness of the owner and her willingness to really make this trip an adventure. After talking to Frenchy on the phone, I knew this is a place I would love and recommend to anyone who wants to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to go dancing if that's your thing.

Also, my fiance and I were thinking of getting married in Alaska. Frenchy not only helped us with our reservations, but also helped us to navigate the visitor's center and Bureau of Vital Statistics to pick up our marriage license. She even became a marriage commissioner for the day and married us on a beautiful cliff near Point Woronzof! We had such a special time and I cannot recommend the hospitality and friendliness enough!

Room Tip: One room has private bath; other rooms share 2 bathrooms.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Even the other guests. It was so convient to get there from the airport. And a bus stop right outside the door. This is an older home and very Alaskan. Good prices too. Not real fancy, just nice and homey.

“Great B&B--clean & close to airport”

A B&B very close to the airport. Comfy bed; serious breakfast--we had to tell our hostess to stop cooking, we couldn't eat any more! Very helpful advice on area info & directions.

We would certainly stay here again when we visit Alaska!

I wanted to say what a WONDERFUL stay I had at Frenchy's. The place is so home away from home! I knew right away just how I was welcomed to stay there that it was a good choice. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, so I got some well needed rest & the breakfast was so delicious. Very Clean & Comfy Furniture. I would truely recommend this place to a friend.

Frenchy's is a warm and comfortable place to stay. I loved the relaxed atmosphere. It was clean, and everyone was so nice!
