“Beautiful gardens along the river”

Natalie and her husband have a beautiful home out by the Diamond mall. The first morning there we took off and jogged along the bike trail that runs between the house and the creek. With the crazy amount of rain Anchorage has received this year the jog was a little wet, but it is a beautiful path that follows the creek and leads to a lake.

Breakfast was at 8am. We had a very nice meal. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. The gardens are beautiful and if the weather had been a little nicer I would have enjoyed hanging out in them.

  • Disliked — Didn't appear that guests could use the kitchen.

“Not worth it!!!!! Not reccomended for younger people”

My husband and I stayed at this bed and breakfast for a few days.... and by the end we were ready to leave.

They have a lot of rules..... no shoes in the house, no using the hot tub after 9 p.m. (who uses a hot tup during the day????). We stayed in a room with a Jaccuzzi, but weren't allowed to use it after 10.

Also, breakfast is at 8:00 a.m and Natalie gets kind of upset if you are not there on time. It felt like being back at the parent's instead of a vacation. DO NOT RECCOMEND IT!!!!
Also, the pictures look nice, but it is in a crowded Neighborhood in Anchorage .

We just returned from an Alaska trip which included several nights at By the Creek Bed and Breakfast. What a wonderful b & b! Natalie and Bruce are great hosts. The rooms are very comfortable, nice homey atmosphere. The breakfasts were excellent. We arrived late the first evening, hungry of course, and Bruce even called to verify a restaurant was open before we headed out. Excellent place to stay, we highly recommend.
