I am not hard to please when it comes to hotels/motels but one thing I do insist on is cleanliness. This motel was very clean, the rooms are comfortable and it was located so that it wasn't too far to go for a restaurant or do some shopping. The bed was comfortable and what contact we had with the front end staff was pleasant and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again, without hesitation.

We stayed here 2 nights prior to our inside passage cruise. Location is a little bit away from city center, will run about $15 to/from downtown area taxi ride. Tut the rooms are clean, bathrooms large and the price couldn't be beat for the summer season. Staff very friendly and accomodating. The laundry room is nice, accessible and reasonably priced. Good selection of beversages & snacks in vending machines.

We enjoyed our stay here while in Anchorage. It has nice people and clean rooms without spending to much money.

This is a good, basic hotel in mid-town. It is clean and comfortable. Over a period of years, we have found that it is the most economical summer hotel in the city.

The staff is helpful and friendly.

Coffee is almost always available near the front desk.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of at least ten restaurants. They also offer a free airport shuttle - take advantage of free airport shuttles in Anchorage when you can. It will save a bundle! The hotel is a long block from the nearest bus stop, but Anchorage busses are clean and easy to use.
