We stayed at the Mangy Moose for one night while waiting for my brother to join us on our AK adventure. Sally was the perfect host and we loved the location and her home. It was nice that the B&B rooms were separated but we still had access to the main house. Breakfasts were so yummy!

We stayed 2 nights in Sallies "The Mangy Moose Bed & Breakfast" and loved every minute of it. Sally is a very kind person and she likes what she is doing. You can see this in every detail of her Bed & Breakfast: everything is clean, comfortable, the food is delicious (her pancakes and muffins are the best!!) and the decoration of the rooms beautiful! Although the B&B is situated only some minutes by car from downtown Anchorage the surrounding area is very quiet and afforested so you will think you live in a forest. Our stay in The Mangy Moose Bed&Breakfast was a highlight on our Alaska-Journey!! Thank you Sally!!

Rooms were beautiful, beds were comfy, tub was large, breakfast was fabulous. Sally was very nice to us even after we deposited our wet, dirty kayaking clothes and shoes in her spotless home following our trip back to Anchorage from Seward. We had to leave very early several mornings during our stay, so we missed the full breakfast a few mornings... but Sally always put out homemade muffins, breads, and cereals for us. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Mangy Moose the last 2 days of a 2 week vacation. 5 of our days were spent kayaking and camping, so the Mangy Moose was a great way to wrap up our vacation. We stayed in the arctic suite which was a huge room, with a huge bath. There's a deck right off our room so you can be on look out for moose, and a shower and a separate jetted tub to help sooth our aching backs. We were also able to do our wash there and print our boarding passes. Sally, the owner and hostess, was always there with a contagious smile and always ready with a cup of coffee. Her breakfasts were delicious and filling. The property inside and out is is immaculate and very inviting. I will definitely stay here again.
