We arrived late and were shown to a subterrainian room that had a mildew smell. The one window looked out upon a half section of corregated metal pipe !! The bathroom door actually scraped against the toilet when you opened or closed it. On the plus side, the linens were fresh and clean and the young woman who shuttled us to the train station was friendly and outgoing. Overall, I wouldn't stay there again. it is not a good bargain for the money.

Good, quick shuttle service. Great location downtown, just a short walk to basically anywhere downtown. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was good.

In conclusion, if you're on a budget and just need a place to spend the night, this bed and breakfast is good.

We found this hotel in "Alaska For Dummies" which said it was very "quaint". In fact, it was a DUMP! We were the real dummies for booking it. Even though we booked months in advance, we were given a basement room which had no windows, filthy carpeting, bedlinens that looked unchanged from the previous guests, disgusting bathroom. All this for $160 per night!!! Do NOT stay here.
