Very good service; the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is nothing special. I stayed in the Anchorage tower (the taller one). It was a little dated, but nothing awful. Room was not that big, but again nothing awful. Bed was clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant closes REALLY early (i.e., not open for dinner) and you have to eat in the bar at night. The food is quite average, and they seemed to be out of some crucial thing each day (one morning they said they were out of eggs!) The place is fine overall, but as I said, nothing great.

This hotel is in an excellent location in downtown Anchorage. I got a nice room upgrade and was very pleased for it. Their breakfast buffet lacks nothing and the wait staff is magnificent. The only minus was the lack of wifi for over 6 hours in December 25 when everything was closed and nowhere to be but the hotel room. Eventually they fixed the problem. Rooms need more maintenance as they have chipped walls, chipped tubs and wall paper coming off. They have wild salmon on their dinner menu but nor the server or kitchen staff were able to tell me if it was really wild of farm raised. I was not willing to pay so much for a fake salmon. Nevertheless, I do recommend this awesome hotel.

My wife and I stayed that the Hilton Anchorage to attend a Christmas party. We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was very courteous, professional, and helpful. The hotel facilities were well maintained. The ballroom was huge and provided more than enough room for our group.

We had a room on the 28th floor; the view was incredible! The room offered a lot of room to spread out, and the bed was perfect. The bath room in our room was cozy (my wife is petite and even she commented on having to "squeeze in") and could have been a little cleaner (dirty shower head, spotty shower curtain, debris on floor).

The breakfast buffet is great, but look out for the unmarked price! We shelled out sixty dollars for a higher-end continental breakfast.

Stayed over a long weekend to check out Anchorage and watch the University of North Dakota play hockey. Arrived late after a flight that was delayed by 2 hours. The front desk manager, Moe, was awesome and upgraded us to a suite without even asking. Very pleased overall with the hotel. One complaint was the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been.
