We checked in on Friday May 28th, thought to ourselves, this place isn't too bad.... A little outdated but not to bad. Wow, we couldn't be any more wrong. The room first of all was so outdated, the beds seemed like they were 30 years old, the mini fridge seemed like the same age as the beds. The microwave was old as well and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. They don't provide any towels, soaps, or even clean sheets for that matter. Well the first night we were there was okay we got in late so we just went right to bed. The next morning when I woke up I noticed that I had some bug bites on my legs and arms... didn't think much of it since we are here in Alaska. After being there during the day i was inspecting the sheets and noticed that the sheet looked dirty. I washed them in hot water and thought okay this is just me being paranoid. Until the next morning woke up with more bites on my back, side and bottom. Places that are not exposed to mosquitos or flies. I then went to the front desk lady to tell her that I think there are bugs in the room that we are staying in and she said no, we dont have bugs. Then I showed her my bites and she tried to say mosquitos I said no, I'm from Juneau and i know these are not mosquito bites... they were in clusters. So then she offered to bug bomb our room so we would have to be gone for 4 hours. We did, and went back 4 hours later. I decided that I would vaccum the room just to be safe. We lifted the box spring off the bed frame just to find out that there were still bugs alive. Totally discusted we demanded a refund cause we were due to be staying there until June 20th. Luckly they gave us the refund and we found somewhere else much cleaner and nicer to stay. I would not recommend that anyone stay here. Just the 3 days we did stay here I counted about 37 bites all over my body.
