3 generations (2 grandparents, 4 adult children, 2 teenagers. We spent a long weekend in Seattle as part of a family vacation to WA. Villa Heidelberg is a unique B&B. The home (over 100 years old) is beautifully decorated and located in the quiet neighborhood of West Seattle. There are 6 bedrooms (1 on the first floor, 1 on the third floor, and we took over the 4 comfortable rooms on the second floor and shared the 2 bathrooms on our floor). Our room had a roof top deck where the family could get together to look over Puget Sound and watch the sunset, beautiful. Eric did a great job with gourmet breakfasts served on gorgeous china, using special flatware and cloth napkins. He greeted us every morning with a smile and helpful info on the area. The location in West Seattle suited us fine. The small town with great restaurants and 2 delicious bakeries was a few short blocks, walk away. Since there was 8 of us with 2 cars, we decided to take the bus from West Seattle to downtown Pike's Market and the monorail to Seattle Center and the Space Needle. The buses ran every 25-30 minutes and were very reasonable priced. Don't drive and park - too expensive and nerve wracking. Thank you, Villa Heidelberg, for adding to our memorable vacation.
