“Great Host and Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 August 2010

Great location. Short bus ride to city center and many cafes nearby. Linda is a great host, she provided a lot of information prior to my trip. She was very accomodating too, I changed my check-in time at the last minute and she waited for me. Fruits and beverages are available all day. Wireless connection was good. Good value. Overall, I had a pleasant time staying in this BB.

“Execellent location, warm friendly host...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 May 2010 via mobile

Execellent location, warm friendly host, exceptional value! Lots of great things to do within walking distance... Charming older theatre, excellent coffee shops, don't miss the "hidden" Salvadorian restaurant.

Linda has done a great job making sure guests feel comfortable and welcome. The "noncooked" breakfast was surprising good with a host of choices.

Easy access to downtown Seattle by bus or a pleasant walk. I enjoyed the charming shops and restaurants in the area, as well as the very comfortable bed and novelties throughout the B&B.

I would highly recommend as an exceptional value. I definitely hope to stay here again on my next visit to Seattle.

“Living in a Historial Home Just for a While”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 May 2010

This is a very authentic smaller bed and breakfast that is very much like being at home. The rooms are all a good size and decorated with antiques and filled with light. Linda, who owns the house is very gracious and kind, and does her best to make her guests fill as comfortable as possible.
The location of this bed and breakfast is wonderful just off the main thoroughfare of the electric Broadway shopping area. There is a great Mexican (all you can eat) restaurant not far called Cocina, where I could fill up on fresh salad and the most delicious dessert - all included in the dinner price of $12.95. And a movie theatre just beside. Lots of amazing coffee houses and a short walk to Volunteer Park, where there is a beautiful free conservatory. My husband and I walk all day, through the beauty of the Capitol Hill district gazing at the gorgeous flowers, trees and amazing architecture, and walk to Pike's Place where I recommend mingling and supporting the local food artisans. Delicious chocolate covered cherries, only availabe at Pike's. Roasted hazelnuts right from the farmer, and seeing the colors and sights is a foodies paradise.
I just love Seattle, and was very happy being with our choice of our bed and breakfast. I will come back... thank you ! Fiona and Rami

“A great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2009

I really enjoyed my stay here. Linda is a wonderful host and is very helpful. She provides a very nice breakfast, and she even made me a cut lunch for my road trip the day I departed. She has a dog and a cat but they will not get in your way. The house is old but well furnished, and the central heating works well, as does the fire place in the lounge. Wi-fi internet also works well. The rooms are clean and quiet and the beds are very comfortable. Offstreet parking is a bonus although it may be limited if the house is full. There are plenty of dining options nearby. Overall this place represents great value for money and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

“Best place to stay in Seattle, beautiful home, great location, wonderful owner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2009

We had a wonderful time staying here during our visit to Seattle. The B&B is in a beautiful home with lovely furnishings with a fire burning in the living room. Our room was a good size with a bureau, a closet and a sink with plenty of room to put our toiletries. There is a bus that runs very close by so getting downtown is easy, at times we walked there as well.
Breakfast was just perfect and left out long enough so that we could have an early or a late breakfast, it was up to us.
The best part was Linda, the owner, who was helpful in every way and sent us off with freshly baked Italian cookies!
