“I would stay somewhere else”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011 via mobile

Really thin walls. We could hear people in other rooms when they even were just walking to the bathroom. Could also hear anyone talking in the hallway and out in the parking lot clearly Random black hair in the bed, shower, and bathroom floor. Front desk seemed rude. Seemed like they were tryin to kick me out of the room the next morning after like 10am even though checkout isn't till noon. I know there are other hotels in the area with similar pricing. I would stay somewhere else next time.

Breakfast wasn't too bad. Although the room was small and I think it made a lot of the guests grumpy.

“A Queen Suite is not a Suite”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

I booked a suite online, expecting from the description and photos on the site that the unit I was booking consisted of more than one room- bedroom and a living room.
(See Wikipedia entry on suites: "A suite in a hotel or other public accommodation, denotes a class of luxury accommodations, the key feature of which is multiple rooms.")

I was travelling with my young child, and I was hoping to be able to put him to bed early, while my wife and I stayed up later in the other room. When I arrived, I was dismayed to find out that the "suite" was a single room that had a couch with a tiny quarter-wall divider separating it from the beds. When I complained to the person at the desk, they explained that the King suites have a separate bedroom, but the Queen Suites do not, and that no King Suites were available during my stay. I feel this is very misleading, and am consequently not very happy about my experience.

Otherwise, the hotel was fine - a bit older, but comfortable, reasonably priced, good location for the zoo. The breakfast was nice to have, although the breakfast room is a bit cramped.

Room Tip: A Queen Suite is not actually suite

We really appreciate that you took your time to write this review and hope you will try our King Suite next time you are in Seattle. “Expensive for pets”

Room was nice and man at front desk was friendly. Price of room was ok but will not stay here again due to expensive pet policy.

“Average property in average location, kitchen room GREAT value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2011

I stayed here on a business trip and had to be in downtown Seattle the next morning at 10 am. Fortunately, I know Seattle traffic, so I had budgeted 45 minutes for the 10 mile trip, and I needed every minute of it. My room was freshly painted and clean, though the bedding had seen better days.
I had been upgraded to a kitchenette room. Attention extended stay travelers - this "kitchenette" was a full-size regular kitchen! Breakfast was the usual unremarkable Comfort Inn processed food offering. Tourists should know that this property is located on a busy commercial street that's basically strip-mall heaven - not very scenic. You'll have to drive or take public transit to see Seattle attractions. Still, for the price, it's a good deal.

Thank you for writing your review and the nice comments about the kitchen.
I biasly say our location is better than average, We are central to all of the Seattle area, From downtown to the U district and you can easily take day trips to many parts of the Puget Sound area. We also have many convenieces close by. Dining, shopping, ect....
I hope you will come again.

“Hello Value! Hello Awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

Stayed here with my wife and we loved it, you gotta try Citizen Coffee shop on the corner. Good stuff! Very good location, a 5 or 10 minute drive to Pike's Place, but a great location for everything. Right by the Seattle Needle. Looking for a great place to eat at night? Try..... 5 Spot, it's literally to die for. Man so many good places to eat like Salumi's Italian meat, Beecher's "World's Best Mac and Cheese": seriously, it is. Duke's Chowder House at Pike's Place. Quinn's is an amazing place to eat too, Wild Boar Sloppy Joe's. Also, Seattle is great because it's only a short 2 hour drive to Vancouver, Canada, and a 2 hour drive to Portland, Oregon.
