Charming hotel convenient locale approx 10 blocks from Pike Place Mkt; nicely upgraded rooms, friendly staff. Very good value! Would go back again.

Very classic hotel experience, where the staff go out of their way to do virtually anything possible to make your stay enjoyable. We were about as fussy as you can get, yet the staff made every effort to accomodate our somewhat quirky requests. The people make the visible difference, but you know that the room didn't get clean and the hotel wasn't spotless by itself. There must be a whole back-stage crew who you never see that make all that stuff happen. The front desk crew and housekeeping are the visible ones, and there wasn't anything that anyone seemed the slightest annoyed about our requests. They were completely gracious, warm and sincere in their demeanor, not a hint of resentment or arrogance. These guys are absolutely the best, cream of the crop.

The Artic Club is a Seattle landmark. The Doubletree has incorporated this history with its usual high quality service and hospitality. The setting is great in downtown, yet the intimacy of this property makes it a great place to stay.

We stayed here for four night on vacation. The hotel is beautiful, and the service is great. Yes, the rooms are a little small, but I love historical buildings and I love what they have done to preserve this amazing building. The Polar Bar was awesome, and the lounge is beautiful. Juno the restaurant in the hotel was pretty good as well, especially for breakfast. The bar menu is very good. We will definitely go back. The only problem we had was the heater in our room was quite noisy. We didn't say anything because we didn't want to change rooms. I'm sure if we would have we would have been accomadated.
