“Great Stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

I loved the room (prem.king) and the decor. The tub and shower were a treat and the cleaning staff was great.

The room did not smell bad or like strong cleaning chemicals which I appreciate. Also, I slept in late so I used the do not disturb sign and left my room around noon and came back around 5:00 pm and it was made up for me no hassle.

Loved having whole foods downstairs so it was easy to eat healthy and gluten free. I also had a beautiful view of the space needle. I found my room very quiet at night, but I use ear plugs. The sauna was great and I wished I had more time to enjoy it during my stay.

I was happy the mini bar had some room for my stuff but I could have use more space. I found the wardrobe was loud to open and close and had a bit of a chemical smell as a lot of modern furnature does so I didn't use it much. The hotel was closer to the main downtown than I thought it because the blocks are short.

I would definately stay here again. This hotel and the Grand Hyatt are my favorite places to stay in Seattle.

“Top-Notch Service”

Stayed for a weekend getaway, was able to book a package special on the Pan Pacific website which included additional perks. It included a late check out (3 pm) and a free breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel, both for service and comfort.

The hotel is located in a busy shopping center that contains a Whole Foods and several other smaller shops. The hotel offers valet parking for a (pricey) fee, and the onsite parking garage isn't much better. We parked on the street without any difficulty, payed the meter and saved a significant amount of money.

Check in was easy, we arrived early and our room was not ready. We were offered a similar, handicapped room which we declined after viewing. We were then offered an upgrade to a space needle view for a discounted price. The front desk employee worked with us to satisy. The room was a corner room, large, with floor to ceiling windows. Bath room has a seperate tube and shower, the tub has a screen that opens and allows one to view the room. Overall spacious and well appointed. Bed was large and comfortable. Corner desk was present with a very comfortable chair. The room included a fridge and a flat screen tv as well.

Hotel loby is clean, warm, and inviting (fireplace off to the side). Be aware that the building is shared with tenants that own the upper floors, so they occasionally come through the hotel. They do have a seperate entrance and elevator bank.

We had a cocktail at the hotel bar after arriving, the bartender was friendly and quick. The only mis-step of the stay occurred when we were enjoying our free "Pan Pacific" breakfast the next morning. We asked the breakfast server how we redeemed out breakfast and how much we could spend. He had no idea. We ordered a meal that was approximately 20 dollars total. AFTER the server brought our food, he informed us that we could only order one specific type of food with that deal. We were unsure of why he didn't inform us of this when we asked BEFORE ordering our food. My significant other questioned this at the front desk, and our entire breakfast was comped. Great resolution to the issue.

Check out was quick and accurate at the front desk. As we were using a late check out, the automatic tv check out was not an option.

I strongly recommend the Pan Pacific Seattle. Great rooms and great service, very relaxing.

Room Tip: Pet rooms are on the lowest floor. Avoid handicapped rooms if able- they are smaller.

This is the first hotel we've visited that had staff who seemed to enjoy their job!
The hotel was clean, modern and well decorated. Many amenities!

“Excellent top to bottom”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

My wife and I stayed at the Pan Pacific just before Christmas while spending time with relatives, and we found the hotel to be exceptional. From check-in through check-out, the staff was super. The room, while small, was nicely apportioned. The design of the bathroom was a bit odd, but totally functional and most importantly clean. The location is great. And the benefit of having a huge, nicely designed Whole Foods Market downstairs cannot be stressed enough. Head down there for a cooked breakfast -- totally worth it. 7 bucks for a nice omelette. And of course, excellent Seattle coffee. Can you say an endless supply of healthy goodies for the room. Wow, wish every hotel had a Whole Foods downstairs. Crazy super. Would stay again in a heartbeat. I think we paid $140 a night -- a great deal, these days.

“THE choice when in Seattle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

I have been to Seattle 4 or 5 times this past year on both business and pleasure. I have stayed a couple of places [Four Seasons, etc. ] but always come back and stay at the Pan.

Why? Great location. Easy to walk to just about everything, Pikes Market, etc.
There is also a Whole Foods store in the basement which makes shopping for snacks, wine, etc. real easy.

The rooms are awesome. I was upgraded one time to a Suite that was about the size of a ballroom!. The staff is professional and responsive.

I think this is the preferred choice when in Seattle.
