“A good hotel in a great location.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We stayed in the club room and it was a decent size room and very well presented. Everything was nice and clean and the bathroom was massive. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay in their rooms. The club room breakfast was very average so don't get excited. There was the usual cereal but very little fruit, smoked salmon but nothing in the way of cheese. We basically just had jam on bread. The yoghurts they had were also not very nice. Not what you would expect in a club lounge. At night the appetizers were quite nice and a lot more thought was put into it than the breakfast. They had a coffee machine and the kids enjoyed drinking the soft drinks from the fridge.
The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel was also very good. Right across the road from the main shops and a quick walk to the waterfront.
Despite the not so good breakfast we would stay here again. There is a starbucks in the foyer which is also quite handy.

“Great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

We spent two nights the Hyatt Grand Seattle in January for a mini-vacation. We got a great deal on the Hyatt website. The cost of our room included breakfast and access to the Grand Club. Our room was on the 25th floor and had an amazing view of the city and water. Although the room was a little on the small side, it was nice and the bathroom was great. The hotel was very quiet and the service was excellent.

“Very nice hotel and friendly staff”

I couldn't have asked for anything more, great hotel and location. They even upgraded us to a nice suite for no additional costs. Would stay at again in Seattle

“Nice hotel...a little trouble with the linens...could use some upgrading”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We stayed at this hotel for a conference. Overall, our experience was very positive. We stayed in a Grand Club level room, and our views were breathtaking. The breakfasts and snacks served in the Grand Club Lounge were wonderful, and the hostess there was outstanding, very helpful and pleasant! Our only complaint was the mattress pad on our king bed kept coming up in the middle of the night. Someone from guest services was there immediately on the first night to help remedy the problem, but the only solution was to install the same, cheap, ineffective mattress pad style, too small to stay on a deeper mattress. Because the bottom sheets were not fitted, there was no way prevent the inevitable waking up in the middle of the night laying directly on the mattress. Gross! It was a frustrating 6- night stay for that reason alone. The hotel should look into purchasing better quality mattress pads.

Room Tip: Opt for a Grand Club level room and plan to have breakfasts there. Terrific spread.
