This is a place I often stay on my way to or from Alaska - late night arrivals and early morning departures. The shuttle service is propmpt and friendly - and the rooms, while basic, serve their purpose well and economically. The cold breakfast buffet is the usual, but adequate - and enough to head out on a flight without meal service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. And the restaurant across the parking lot has good selections at reasonable prices.

CGH is close to SeaTac so very convenient for travellers.
It is very clean and comfortable!
They offer a free continental breakfast.
Even late at night, the staff is very friendly and accomodating.

After 30 years of constant worldwide travel for biz, we now hit the skies for leisure only. About 20-25 times a year our flite leaves early AM so an overnight is required. Sometimes we get back too late to drive and catch the ferry to our island home, so we head here for a night's sleep. Nowhere in the world is there a hotel like this one: neat, clean, up to date; staffed with completely friendly and competent folks, almost all of whom have been there since the day it opened; check in and check out service flawless; very friendly van drivers who whisk customers to the airport every 15 minutes and don't hum and haw for a tip, after they put your bags on and take them off; about 5 minutes away in the van from the airport entrance, sometimes less (you can actually walk to the airport entrance in under 5 minutes); an excellent restaturant 100 feet away from the hotel lobby; adequate biz and fitness rooms; flat panel color TVs and free (really free) internet. And the zinger of all are rates that are at least 50% and generally lower than that charged in all the other big name Seattle airport hotels.Their park and stay combos with MasterPark are incredibly good values. It is a no brainer not to stay here. And this happens every time, every trip.

You have to understand that I am not used to staying at airport hotels, so my rating is compared to hotels in other locations. For an airport hotel, it was perfectly adequate: they had a cold breakfast with (hot) waffles, clean rooms, a 24-hour on-demand shuttle, and a good location. What more can you ask? It was not luxurious, spacious, updated, etc. I would not recommend it for leisure travelers to Seattle unless they need somewhere to stay for a night before flying out. I have NO specific criticisms: there's nothing WRONG with the hotel, it's just nothing particularly special. The beds were quite comfortable though.
