“Not bad in a pinch”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 February 2011

Stayed here one night after finding it on a GPS. The rate was all right (around $80) for a large room with two queen beds.

Called on a long weekend and with 10 minutes notice had a room. The fellow on the desk was very nice.

Room had a fridge and microwave and with some instructions the TV worked fine. The beds were clean and so was the bathroom. Also offered a continental breakfast which we didn't use at all. Was also very quiet and the place is well built. Had free wi fi which worked fine.

But there are holes in the wall from paintings, peeled wallpaper and paint, one headboard off the wall and it's a place you wouldn't want to walk without socks or shoes! The furniture was vintage 70s or 80s and well worn. Also noticed that there is no smoke detector and it has been taken off the ceiling. There is work being done with rolled up carpet in the parking lot.

So in a pinch for one night it was all right and the beds and bathroon were clean. But I'd never book it again.

“DO.NOT.STAY.HERE.”

This motel is disgusting. I wouldn't recommend that ANYONE stay there. It's in a scary industrial type area outside of downtown Seattle. There is nothing within walking distance. You cannot walk to Safeco field, so don't bother trying to save a couple bucks if you're going to the game by staying there (which is what we tried...ugh). Our bed turned out to be broken on one side. We slept on a slant. Enough said.

“EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

We stayed at La Hacienda because it was close to the SafeCo field and we had to get to a Mariner's game. We decided it was only for one night and we would leave immediately int the morning. The service was bad, with non-english speaking staff. The shower and sink did not drain and when we complained to the employees they did nothing to fix it. The carpet was dirty, there were spots on the wall where the wallpaper was ripping off and they had tried to patch it. The TV didn't work and there were creepy people hanging around the parking lot. The next day we discovered there were bedbugs in the beds, as one member of our group had gotten bitten in quite a few places. It was certainly not worth the money.

“This motel is fine!”

I stayed here with some hesitancy based on the reviews. I work for a nonprofit and needed low-cost lodging for a couple of nights on a business trip. The people that run this motel are really, really, really nice and very helpful. The room was fine. The motel is not the newest or fanciest motel in Seattle, but I don't understand what people expect when they are paying significantly less than other motels. The room had everything a person would expect in motel: air conditioning and heat, hot water, cable, a comfortable bed, comfortable furniture and closet space. It was quiet at night and I got a good night's rest. This place is great for the cost and will suit you fine if you do not expect 5 star accommodations with a 1 star price tag.‎

“How did this place pass health inspections? HELP !!!”

non english speaking staff, paint peeling from walls, no internet available, breakfast was cold cereal and old milk on a counter top, dirty carpet, very old furnishings, not a good area of town, no deadbolt or chain on door, bathroom window did not shut, spray paint peeling off bathtub. not worth more than about 10.00 per night. they have hourly rates too..go figure the illegal business must be keeping them in business.

NO not a good value at all.
