I thought I'd try this instead of my normal hotel in Federal Way so that I wouldn't have to drive in inclement weather late at night. Seemed nice enough, sort of like an Embassy Suites with a covered atrium and large pool. Nicely appointed rooms. That's all I know since I was only there for about 8 hours!

Our first view was not encouraging, but we came to realise very quickly that they had chosen to spend their renovation dollar inside, rather than on externals. That's fine by us, it was superb! The rainforest around the pool and the huge timber-beamed canopy over, gave us our first real taste of Pacific North West style; the food was great at both dinner and breakfast, and the room was luxury plus. When our rental car failed to arrive, they were far more helpful than Hertz in resolving the problem! I would always stay here again after a cross-Pacific flight.

We stayed here for one night before an early flight from SEATAC the next morning. Check-in was fine and they have a convenient computer right by the desk where you can print your boarding pass. We were pedestrian passengers on the ferry from Bainbridge Island to Seattle, and there were plenty of cabs to meet the ferry and the ride to the hotel isn't very long.

It was just a quick overnight stay, but the property was as you'd expect a Marriott to be: clean, smartly decorated, professional staff, everything functional. The indoor pool was pretty although we didn't use it. The complimentary shuttle to the airport is timely and convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

The indoor swimming pool is huge and in the center of the hotel. If you have kids they can swim all they want.
In the bar you want Mark as your waiter. He is terrific and makes you feel at home.
The restaurants were just remodeled and opened this month, so the staff is getting use to the new menus. Food is very good
