I like to work out and because this hotel is enormous I thought the gym will be nice, believe me, the rooms are big and comfortable but the GYM is SMALER than a guest room. There is an area separate to do cardio that is bigger but is only for cardio: to lift wights is an area smaller than a guest room. Is the only thing I didn't like about this huge hotel; ah! and the pool is small too and ugly. But the guest rooms and beds are very nice!
Make sure u don't get a room facing the other towel.

We always stay at the Westin when we are in Seattle. The hotel is convienently located and the mojitos downstairs are always good! Rooms are nice and spacious, beds are comfortable. It will be good when this hotel finishes undergoing a renovation. It also helps that we are southwest VISA holders and get 2 points per dollar on staying here. The last time we stayed, the spa was WAY over-chlornated. Easy walk to Pike's place, and to the monorail to the space needle. We valet parked our car and walked everywhere we wanted to go. The only negative was our room was located across from the elevators, next to the ice machine.

We stayed at the Westin Seattle for a girls' weekend in October. The hotel is centrally located for walking around Seattle, has a pleasant staff, and the rooms are adequate. Given that we paid only about $100/night on Hotwire.com, we were extremely satisfied and thought the hotel was a great value.

As a loyal SPG member, this hotel was a natural pick for us. The physical address of the hotel is misleading -- valet parking is actually on the corner of 6th and Stewart. Great location in downtown Seattle - easy walk to Pike's Place, and the waterfront. We had a room on one of the top floors which allowed us to see the city from a different perspective, and take in views of Lake Union. The hotel is old, but clean, and has nice amenities. Our room as across the hall from the ice maker, which you could hear over the top of the television. Compared to other Starwood properties, we were disappointed to find that as SPG Gold members we had to pay for internet and valet parking here; which is included at most other destinations. Staff for the most part is friendly. Would probably not stay here again, as we prefer the other SPG property in downtown Seattle.
